In 2024, American cities and federal agencies spent $428.7 Billion on police. China spent $258.4 Billion. That's $615,065 per cop. Germany by comparison spends the equivalent of $213,177 per cop. We're throwing money at law enforcement with not much more to show for it than our peers.
