I assume anyone who points out how small the trans population is doesn’t know any trans people & I guess that’s what it takes to care? Because if you know even ONE trans person, like a person in your life, how can you think about that person and conclude it’s okay if they get thrown under the bus?
They fired so many artists over this too. People who helped make the game iconic were tossed out on the street because the Slop Faucet could do it "decent enough". If you still play Fortnite, you're funding the hyper-acceleration of AI replacing Artists in Gaming

I ditched Tangia and turned jumpscares into a Twitch Powerup instead. You can find them with the channel point redemptions! Never even used Frostytools myself (luckily)

FrostyTools scrapes the raider's profile and chat then uses GenAI to provide a (probably wrong) shoutout. Tangia steals actors' voices!

If you want Amazon and Twitch to roll their AI program back it'll have to be through pressure campaigns. Instead of using Twitch subscriptions, bits, etc donate directly to the streamer. Most 3rd party donation providers (like Ko-Fi and Streamlabs) allow subscription donations. 2/4
steam AI disclosures are so funny. they clearly know they're in the wrong, but they still think they can find the magic combination of words so people will make an exception for them. guys you don't understand i HAD to use AI and the game only has a LITTLE slop and i'm just a little birthday boy
May the people who were tricked into buying games with AI slop (cause the creators don't disclose) have a very happy refund! Use that cash towards games that actually deserve the spotlight and attention.

just said this on another post but it bears repeating: the thing about continuing to give money to any jk rowling properties or the nyt is not that they’re shitty about trans people, which they are. it is that both of these entities MATERIALLY CONTRIBUTE to the legal challenges to trans rights

The disingenous argument that AI lovers love to make about AI tech being useful for people living with disabilities should make you sick. It uses differently-abled people as props, there is no genuine care for anyone's wellbeing here (if there were, we'd also hear about accessibility in tech)

When I try to talk about Epilepsy Accessibility in videogames, I've started to talk less about "how many more people can play your game" and more about how "this game can cause fatal harm to people if certain options aren't implemented, or even considered."
No party campaigned on age verification. Nobody the US voted for this. Nobody the EU voted for this. Nobody the UK voted for this. Nobody in Australia voted for this. Some don't even know it's happening. Meta lobbied for this and got their way within a few years. Let this radicalize you.
If the team that made a game gets immediately laid off it's perfectly legal to pirate it Look I don't make game law but I do fancy myself something of an expert on this so you can definitely steal the pirate game whose devs got laid off and they didn't even let em have a real launch party its legal
The "creatives" who use genAI at any part of their process need to understand I'm not desperate for new media. There is such a backlog of arts, movies, books, and games WITHOUT genAI that if nothing new was made again, I'd still need a hundred lifetimes to consume even a fraction of it.
