between falling ill in June and July, being forced to turn down important commissions and getting hit with extra health bills, I'm not making ends meet this month (as it happened with the previous 2 months). I struggle to ask for help, so the best I can do is a sale. 👇

There’s something really lovely about solo RPGs. No waiting for everyone to be free. No worrying about whether everyone’s enjoying the story. Just you, the dice, and a world to disappear into. For those of you who play solo: what keeps you coming back? rpg-trader.com

Thanks again, @ambierona.bsky.social, for playing Color Jam both solo and with your kid! I'm glad it hit when other games didn't -- so true for my family, too! (Reposting with screenshots this time) Please give Color Jam a follow here: www.kickstarter.com/projects/lun...

Crystal: You're making me want to color and I don't even think I would like coloring at this point in my life…
Ambie: With this game, I enjoyed it more than I thought because like you're not just coloring…Ambie: So having the goal there helps make the coloring more fun for me… In Color Jam you are making decisions though, but then it's like a game.
Crystal: Not just aesthetic choices.Ambie: So I I enjoyed it, and it works as solo or as a cooperative activity where you're working together or like switching off which colors you pick... we could be simultaneously coloring which was nice.
Crystal: That is pretty cool!Thank you, Board Game Blitz!
We’ll miss you 💜🩵

Color Jam (review copy from @lunarpunk.games ) is way more of a hit than I expected it to be! I played it with my 6yo kid the other day and today he wanted to play it with my husband and is teaching him! He hasn’t been enjoying many typical board games recently so this is the perfect game for him!

Do you like playing solo journaling games, and if so, would like the be one of the first people to play a new one I'm working on? I'm looking for playtesters for The Unease: In The Unease you describe the impact an artwork makes on you, how your obsession with it grows and how it changes you. 1/2

I’m looking for layout inspiration. What have been your favorite solo journaling games when focussing on layout? (The Unease needs to be something special layout wise: it’s about art)

a thing I've learned: people who vlog or blog about 'the perfect sourdough loaf' are full of shit, if you have done it a few times you really don't need any exact ratios, temperatures and time schedules, sure, it won't be a perfect loaf, but still better than storebought bread
