My husband is an ER doc who’s worked in 5 different states, including in major cities like NYC & Philly w/ large immigrant populations. An abundance of translators has NEVER been the status quo at any hospital he’s worked at.

This is dumb - their net income (still over $20 billion!) missed expectations almost entirely because of a $9bn loss in equity investments, including SpaceX. And advertising is a dying business anyway (see also: newspapers)... Their AI mode is awesome.

DHS agents have shot at least 25 people. Reporting has found some of these agents have violent backgrounds, taken inappropriate actions after shootings, lied, and even bragged about using lethal force. I’m demanding information about these agents from DHS. Accountability NOW.

Contrast this - acknowledged to be illegal by everyone - to the "uncovering a scandal" tone the times gave the revelation that the Peltola campaign helped recruit Dan Sullivan II which they acknowledge to not be illegal

Why I will never subscribe to the @nytimes.com ever. Because they enable and empower fascists, platformed Chris Rufo and other racists, and covered Joe Biden (in a way they have never covered Trump) because he refused to give them an interview. And then they hide behind their "standards."

Hinojosa has a tougher mountain to climb because she is running against an incumbent. Florida is notoriously difficult to poll because of the language gap. There are just big swaths of the state where people don’t speak a lick of English (and they all like Trump).
