He won by under 1%, not the blowout that was being bandied about. But hey, glad this is over. I hope El-Sayed wins, but I also hope he doesn't turn into another Fetterman.

For progressives/leftist candidates, every election is a “crucial test” and any loss would serve as proof to the media that the latest left-side moment is at its end. Any win, though, just means it’s time to find a new test.
This settlement is like the Brazilian military dictatorship passing a law in 1979 to protect themselves - and a court upholding it decades later.
