Forgotten Island was such a beautiful movie, so vivid and vibrant, and so rich in Filipino culture and folklore. It was so refreshing to dip into the stories not often seen in western media, opening my mind to the worlds beyond. I have heard of Arthur and Ragnar, but never of Manananggal.
