To be blunt: I get pissed off when cis people are shocked at the degree to which transphobes hate us. Because we've tried to tell you and you didn't believe us. Because you thought it couldn't be "that bad." Because, sometimes, you thought it was hate in the quiet, polite way that you hate us.

Cis people may feel frustrated trans people go SO berserk anti- a single writer. If this confuses you try to understand how much it hurts to live an existence so precarious, a single popular author in your country saying "these people shouldn't exist!" can actually mean legal rights being taken away
Don't watch the Harry Potter show. Just don't. There is no reason to keep holding on to this stupid franchise when so many people have no problem letting go of other things for all sorts of reasons. Even apart from Rowling's transphobia, the immovable place HP has in culture is fucking annoying.
With the HP trailer dropping tomorrow, here's the whole deal: If you watch the show, hell even just the trailer, I will think less of you. I will dislike you. I will think you don't care about trans people. That's it. It's been years. There's no wiggle room. No qualifiers. You care or you don't.
