It's oct and that means everything is turning pink. I encourage everyone to think before buying products marketed as raising awareness or funds. A better use of time and money are funds sent to research, direct mutual aid to patients, groups like metavivor and national breast cancer foundation ⬇️

Good morning, our school is selling FANCY POPCORN this week to raise money for a a fun school-wide trip to a baseball game! This is a HUGE undertaking and we want to be able to offer transport and food to as many families as we can while we’re there. 50% of every order goes to us!

This is so good - obviously in my world when people hear Cancer they think of my 7 year old who died from it. But not all cancer kills. Not even all *brain* tumors kill. And the medical industry needs to readjust the common understanding through better communication.

i worry that men think being A Good Guy is dramatically and heroically intervening on behalf of an endangered woman and then being publicly rewarded on a grand scale when actually being A Good Guy is just usually saying, “hey man that’s not funny” or “wow that’s fucked up” and there is no reward

This goofy little human was dying when we took this picture. He spent that day riding roller coasters and three weeks later he was gone; cancer stealing the rest of his beautiful life. He's what they called "an outlier" so other than the dying he was completely fine. He was seven.
