I am 100% a believer that you should of course write for yourself first and foremost, but it's absolutely batshit to treat writers--fanfic or otherwise--as somehow selfish or vain for wanting or appreciating acknowledgment.

For Dancing Green's fight, the initial pitch was: "we want a rhythm game in our raid!" but timing button inputs to a beat isn't easy because of the different latencies between platforms, connections and devices. So, a specialized step sound effect that is synced to the BGM that transitions to BGM.
Housemate had the brilliant idea to include some individually wrapped teabags in the bowl of candy I was about to put out for trick-or-treaters, which I'm incredibly charmed by. 😄 I'm so curious to see if anybody takes some!

As we go into Evercold, I am going to once again remind people that a lot of straight-up nazis appropriate Norse and Celtic aesthetic and mythology, and it is not "causing drama" to kick racists out of your spaces. That shit is like black mold. Remove it immediately or your whole space is fucked.
