I'm gonna have to wait until the end of the month to play Ocarina of Time because while I did snag a switch 2 without falling to scalpers, it won't get here until like, the 20th. But I am in fact going to sob brokenly the entire time I'm playing that game. It's gonna be great.

Preserving this reply because I can't believe someone read a thread about decaying community standards in fandom and decided the correct response was to say "well, isn't that just the same as danbooru?" as a fucking gotcha. Reading fucking comprehension, my dudes.

A screenshot of a now orphaned thread because I blocked the idiot I was responding to: So genuine question, do you think it's okay to submit someone else's art to aggregators like that? Because I don't. I think it's disrespectful. And a lot of artists have been loud and explicit about it, for ages. And just because a shitty thing happens to artists, then it's okay for it to happen to writers? Because again, I don't think so. And I hope you can see how responding to people going "This is a shitty thing" with "well, shitty thing happens to others too" is both dismissive and derailing. Shitty thing shouldn't happen to others either. Because it's shitty.

Real talk though, with AO3 down the thing I miss the most are my anons. :C I have the sweetest, kindest anons and I hope they know their comments on the ongoing fic are a delight and I look forward to them every chapter.
