Working on a script for a VtM-related video, so what better music to have on than this?

I have a few thoughts about the VtM 6 playtest, and they are way more conflicting than I thought they would be. I really find myself going from "oh this is interesting" to "wth were they thinking?!" a lot. I consider this a good thing.
It's been a while, but it's time again for a post blood donation cuppa!
D&D surely is the lingua franca of Actual Play, just like English is the linguistic lingua franca of Actual Plays. That doesn't mean you can't introduce people to new languages. Just like "actual" languages, the more TTRPGs you "speak", the more colorful your experience in the hobby will be.
Ever wondered why there are / were TWO Worlds of Darkness? Well, wonder no more! Join me on a little TTRPG history lesson, as I explain how we got two different WoDs, and how one came back and ended the other.
Why are/were there TWO Worlds of Darkness?!

Come for a deepdive into a curious awards case, stay for banger quotes such as "Constant growth being measure of success is a capitalist lie". This video is great!
In 2025 the CRiT Awards announced that winners would receive prizes provided by sponsors. A year later, the prizes haven't appeared. Michelle asked sponsors, winners, and the CRiT Awards team what happened - grab a cup of tea and a biscuit and settle in to hear the whole story.
If we interpret "iterating" as "removing the mechanic and replacing it with 3 more things to track", then yeah V6 definitely gives me what I was hoping for...
Oh and iterating on the Hunger Dice system because that mechanic absolutely SLAPS but could use some fine-tuning!
We had the pleasure of chatting with @glitzydemon.itch.io about their game 'A Field of Sunflowers: In Memory of the Roma Holocaust' and how sunflowers can bring laughter. This interview will be available on August 3rd on our YouTube and streaming on our Twitch at 7pm BST/8pm CEST
Now available on YouTube: the final part of Querent - Canis Coda: Fall of the Udesians. The world that was built with Microscope now crumbles to darkness in Ten Candles with @lithiarch.bsky.social, @finleyjinley.bsky.social, @thechindividual.bsky.social, & @vengaboy.bsky.social.
Ten Candles - Querent | cross-system actual play two-shot
At the end of the world known as Udes, three survivors reckon with the darkening of the stars, the loss of their connections, and the final quietening of their music. Ten Candles is a tragic horror…

The number one thing I want for a new edition of VtM is a very clear focus on what specific type of vampiric story you play in this game, or at least distinct modes of play for different types of stories. VtM trying to be "something for everyone" has always been it's greatest strength AND flaw.
TOMORROW! Led by facilitator/GM @lithiarch.bsky.social, storytellers @finleyjinley.bsky.social , @thechindividual.bsky.social, and @vengaboy.bsky.social create a world of exploration and starlight - only to watch its skies fall dark. Join us for Microscope, part one of Querent.

It is time to rise against the Thrice-Damned House! Today's video is a campaign overview of the #pathfinder2e AP "Hell's Destiny". Watch this for a plot overview, to see if is the right AP for you, and how you can link it to the excellent AP "Hellbreakers".

Question for the TTRPG folks here: When you hear the term "rules lawyer", do you consider it a positive or negative term?
I understand that it sucks to have to read a book you didn't choose as a kid but when people are like 40 and still going, "well assigned reading turned me off from reading" it's like, ok but you're 40. No one has assigned you a book in like 20 years.

When seeking inspiration, Querent's players drew from the Mordant Arcana tarot deck by @bogfolk.com. This beautiful, razor sharp deck illustrated by @stregawolf.art helped build the doomed world of the Udesians. Watch Wednesday to see it in action, or buy it up here - bogfolk.itch.io/mordant-arcana

It is taking me longer than I would like to write a script for a new video, and I'm already hearing that voice in my head that I'm being lazy and suck at this. But you know what? Sometimes, things just HAVE to take a little longer. It's not your skill or dedication, sometimes...it's just life.
It's actually a little known secret that as a GM, you're allowed to dump as much setting lore as you want if you start the exposition with "fun fact:"
Few things in a job can be as annoying as a micro-managing manager who wants to sign off on every single decision you make.
Yeah this "Obsession" movie is really freaking good.
