Evasion of peer review is a hallmark of pseudoscience. But even more insidious is the obviation of scientific scrutiny by publishing in pseudoscientific journals that exist to provide an illusion of scientific legitimacy. There’s nothing new about MAHA’s propaganda tactics.

Never take seriously those who ridicule low income people for having a smartphone or laptop. “If they’re so poor how did they buy an iPhone???” Because they’re trying to escape poverty, not the 1700s, genius. If you think basic tech access is unnecessary or a luxury, survive a month without it.

We’re not accepting complaints about the Hunter Biden pardon unless you also complained about the Steve Bannon, Michael Flynn, Roger Stone, and Paul Manafort pardons.

If I were Joe Biden, the things I would do with my brand new Presidential Immunity superpowers in these last 50 days would shock the conscience. Pardoning my kid for a political prosecution launched by a convicted felon wouldn't even crack the Top 100.

Trans women are not committing crimes in bathrooms, but here’s a short list of Republicans who have. John Hinson - oral sodomy Larry Craig - part of a sex-sting operation. Bob Allen - for paying an undercover cop for oral sex. *cue shooting star* - The more you know…

When Obama nominated Tom Daschle -- a congressional leader with three decades of experience working on federal health care policies -- to be HHS secretary, the senator had to withdraw because a donor provided him with a car. If only he'd beheaded a whale! www.theguardian.com/world/2009/f...

I don't want to sound alarmist or anything, but I'm not sure it's a good idea to skip FBI background checks and bury congressional ethics reports about nominees to the most important posts in the federal government.

Pitch for a new C-SPAN channel: 24-hour split-screen, close-up coverage of Lisa Murkowski and Susan Collins clutching their pearls before nevertheless voting to confirm every goddamn time.

"1 in 14 judges confirmed during Trump’s presidency were confirmed after he lost his reelection bid. Perhaps the best known of those judges is U.S. District Judge Aileen M. Cannon. " Will Biden/Schumer/Durbin show any sense of urgency in pushing to confirm judges?

The president-elect wants to keep a number of seats in the judiciary unfilled, despite his push to stack the bench after he lost in 2020.
