SFF, we need to talk. I'm not here to rag specifically on Bona, who did the right thing by going public. No, I'm looking at all of you. Or at least, 15 of you. Because this right here? This is buckwild.

Once we’d picked our hearts off the floor, we started digging: Bella had minimal online presence, first appearing in May 2025. Since then, she’d accumulated a remarkable publication record (we counted 15 published stories in 12 months), across name publishers and small or community-minded outlets, including several paying SFWA rates (like us).

This is from Tidal's new AI policy going into effect July 15th. It's not an outright ban, but clearly labeling AI generated stuff and shutting off its ability to generate revenue is a great approach. Plagiarists are less likely to pollute a platform if there isn't any monetary gain.

Tidal will not tolerate AI-generated music that impersonates an artist or group, or that facilitates fraudulent activity. We’re implementing automatic tools to remove these releases immediately and on an ongoing basis. Tidal will not allow music that is 100% AI-generated to be monetized. No royalties will go to such releases, nor will AI-generated uploads be eligible for direct-to-fan sales. We will update Tidal’s AI policy as the technology continues to evolve.

It’s important to understand that the Court is now just an arm of the oligarchy. This decision strips the people of the right to limit the role of money in politics. It gives billionaires special rights to buy our elections. A precondition of oligarchy.

The thing you need to understand is that there are 2 (TWO) different method for amending the constitution 1) The process laid out in the constititon itself (conventions, or 2/3's of both houses followed by 3/4 of states ratifying) OR 2) find five votes on the Supreme Court.
