Today is Butterbrot Day Today celebrates the traditional open-faced buttered bread staple. Butterbrot - literally "butter bread" - dates back centuries in Germany as a basic part of breakfast, packed lunches or Abendbrot, traditional cold evening meal. Referenced as an alternative meals in 1339.

Writer Land folks: learned today that someone received a scam email pretending to be me, inviting them to speak at @canconsffh.bsky.social. Any emails from leadprogrammingcancon at gmail dot com (or similar, because who knows) are fake and should be ignored.
