Excited to be heading to @tricon-hfx.bsky.social in *checks watch* a little over a week??? Ahhh???? Super pumped to be talking to some VERY cool people about fanfic and unshittifying the internet!! Come say hi, I'm very easy to spot!!!

TriCon schedule for me, Erin Rockfort. There is a picture of myself, a person with coloured hair and glasses. The image has two panels. One is at Friday May 15th, 5:30 PM, "Fanfic House Style: The Form and Culture of Fandom" w Jenn Giesbrecht (mod), Alice Camp, Torill Orlesky, in Room 205, NSCAD Marginal Road Campus. The other is on Saturday May 16th at 5pm, "(Un)Shittification of the Internet" with Mark Rayner, C.J. Lavigne, Julian Mortimer Smith, Didi Chanoch, in Room 204, NSCAD MArginal Road Campus.

All of us at Can*Con are saddened to hear that Renaissance Press have taken the difficult decision to cease operations. Renaissance Press and the writers they publish have been a big part of our convention for many years. We will miss them, and the loss will be felt by the SFFH community.

Can*Con Virtual: DISRUPTION is TOMORROW!! The first panel starts at 9:30 am EDT and then we have a whole series of great programming running all day until 7:20. We're so excited to translocate the very essence of Can*Con into your house! Get tickets:https://www.can-con.org/virtual-cancon

This is happening TOMORROW and I am so thrilled to be a part of it! I'm going to be on two panels: "Making It & Breaking It: Navigating A Career In Writing" and "Fighting the Empire: Unflinching Looks at Fascism."

I'll be doing an online panel for Virtual Can*Con tomorrow (Saturday): Making It & Breaking It: Navigating A Career in Writing kicks off at 5 PM EST. Come for the discussion on surviving safely in the industry. Or to find out what I, gender dysphoric and thus camera averse, actually look like. :p
