Four of my family members, upon the Nazi invasion of Hungary, managed to flee to Australia. A mother and three daughters. The husband/father, after helping them escape, was deported to Auschwitz, dehumanized and killed. It is hard, right now, not to hear echoes of the past. Ah Freilechen Hannuakkah.
