Exciting that I've got planet terrain _finally_ unified enough with asteroid terrain that plopping a base down and other details work the same. Giving me hope that I really will get this all going reasonably!

In the @contactlight.gg future, we may have gravity guns but we mostly have robots to haul hundreds of units of cargo in and out of ships for you (blender concept test, not in-engine yet)

Lots of work to do still, but the @contactlight.gg asteroid streamer is now COOKING along. Stably supporting a full 5km/s if not more of flight speed. Need to work on the popping obviously, but huge perf and surface detail step in a good direction. Feat the ring naturally. And some angry NPCs.
On the one hand, this passes all my tests and achieves a huge feature milestone with flying colors. On the other hand WHOOOBOY THIS DOES NOT SPARK JOY. This was developed as a whole stack of ~ten changes and will be executed as one because the stacks are totally out of hand.
