"Trump-a-Palooza" (or Trumpapalooza) is the first-ever GOP midterm convention in Dallas, Texas, September 9–10. It's a fundraiser - GOP folks must pay $25,000 to attend. (Or is it only $20,000?) Such a Deal! Who wouldn't pay $25K to hear Trump blather on for an hour, or two hours if you're lucky??

My first job out of college was as a Park Ranger at the Lincoln Memorial. The Reflecting Pool fiasco is infuriating. While Americans struggle with higher costs amid war in Iran, Trump is fixated on a vanity project that enriched his friends on the American taxpayers’ dime.

Humans are gross. We could feed everyone, have non-polluting renewable energy everywhere, and live in a biome we weren’t poisoning on the regular. Why can’t we do that?
There’s a massive heap of plastic garbage in the Pacific Ocean that’s more than twice as big as Texas, and it’s churning microplastics into the air. Scientists have discovered that’s not the only way it contributes to the environmental crisis. www.cnn.com/2026/05/04/c...
Two photos. Same room. Same flags. Same astronauts. In one, the President stands with them, smiling, centered, human. In the other, the President sits scowling, rambling, diminished. Four astronauts. Two presidents. And the faces tell you everything.
