Gotta say, a big part of why I’ve been having fun learning bread baking has been working the dough with my hands. It’s so satisfying to get in there and squish everything around until it becomes workable dough! Tactile in a way cooking so often isn’t.

Maurice Noble was THE cartoon background designer. I love how much he was able to fuck around around and get so abstractly graphic, yet no one in the audience ever batted an eye because his designs lent so much personality and energy to the cartoons they were used in.
