Hello!! 🥳 I'm very excited to introduce HOUSE HUNTERS, a graphic novel that's been simmering in my head for almost a decade. Thank you so much to @janechunlit.bsky.social for being this story's #1 supporter, and to Tess for finding it a home at 23rd Street. I can't wait to share this with you all!

A purple and teal illustration of a woman in a warped stadium. She's looking up at a screenshot of the Publishers Marketplace announcement for House Hunters.

The announcement reads: "Kelly Bull's House Hunters series, the author's debut, about a woman who must fight her neighbors in a series of deadly battles in lieu of paying rent, pitched as Squid Game meets Scott Pilgrim, to Tess Banta at 23rd Street, in a good deal, in a pre-empt, in a three-book deal, by Jane Chun at Transatlantic Literacy Agency (world)."

Like, what's under there? Is it a risque pinup drawing, which I'm fine with seeing? Is it a giant ejaculating wiener, which I don't want to see? Surprise! It's neither! It's a regular text post complaining about this change being really poorly implemented! :(

Guys I went to see the backrooms and… I liked the first half of it a LOT. But I think it could’ve benefited from being longer and fleshing out the characters more. Amazing visuals. Eye candy movie. I lovedddd the effects. The backrooms itself was awesome. It’s just the plot and characters

By the way, if you're curious how the horror community feels watching these movies clean up at the box office: we're fucking elated. In horror, rising tides raises all boats. We're all rooting for each other. After the lean box office of last fall, this spring has been refreshing and exciting.
