Really sucks that Deltarune is arguably the most successful indie game of all time, yet its music is not owned by the man who composed it, and is instead policed by a bunch of weird companies that go against his wishes and demonetize or even steal monetization from random streams and videos.

I'm seeing a lot of folks critiquing the current wave of AI slop recomps and saying "We don't even need ports, we have emulators." I want to push back against that a bit. Sure, a sloppy port is worse than an emulator, but something like Dusklight is undeniably better than Dolphin.
Hey that's really good. Thank you everyone for an incredible first 24hrs. Even using the old view system, the video has 60k "Engaged Views," meaning this is the strongest Day 1 a SimplySnaps video has ever had by twofold. I'm truly grateful, IDK what else to say but "Neat."
Wow! Even with the inflated views since my last upload, this Demo video is a *real* best of 10! (Engaged views are just the old way of counting views from before August)
At this point, though, if someone contends they’ve never even heard of Linkle Mods, it may say more about the gamer than the mod. Or, for that matter, what they want to project to the world.

I finally finished a full, complete 100% run with the new route and beat my 7 year old be by 2 whole seconds. This run still has a bunch of mistakes but the new route saves so much time. More improvements soon.

someone's probably already mentioned this, but how could AI possibly take over the world within the next few years if we're actively building trillions of dollars of infrastructure just to keep it running? If they enslaved or killed us, they'd run out of power within days. Am I missing something?

Growing up in a conservative area I'd read about the early 1900's and listen to Black writers saying "A white man can kill a Black man for any reason and get away with it." I was disturbed, but inspired by the progress we'd made. That progress is a lie, it's still happening, and we have to stop it.

Dusklight was made by talented humans volunteering their time. If you count the decompilation, it took nearly six years to create. A few members of the team use automation for menial tasks, but anyone claiming Dusklight was "written by AI" is either lying, or has been lied to. Nuance matters here.

In case I don't say it enough: Free Palestine When one side has guns and the other side has teddy bears, to be neutral is to endorse the massacre of children. I understand you don't want to talk about it, I understand there's a very real opportunity cost for speaking truth to power.
