To Americans anxious about the upcoming elections, a key thing we learned in Brazil that might help you: DO NOT engage with the far-right online. Don’t share rage bait. Amplify your people. Ignore them.
Artists who take commissions: Do you take many types of commissions or do you have a focus? If you've got a narrow focus, did you do that intentionally to help yourself? To help clients decide? If you offer a wide range of options do you feel like there's one folks usually pick?

I think artists and sex workers should have a natural allyship. Both of us are often told we should not be allowed to charge for our work if it is at all pleasurable. Both of us are wanted for what we can do, but our work is considered not worth paying for. We should stick together

If you're going to take commissions, or coordinate a big creative project, most people are going to understand if you get busy, or something happens but you do need to communicate.
