These ko-fi headshots have been such rewarding project to work on, thank you to everyone who's trusted me with their little blorbos (even, reluctantly, the soup).

this so funny to me, like hey non-smokers, how would you fare if cigarettes were suddenly banned?? HMMM??? I am very intelligent!
Guys like this don’t realize that they are the freak
'You'll choke too' - an aerial embroidery landscape inspired by all the wildfires happening right now... I'm upset every time I smell smoke outside and somehow we have people starting them maliciously too! But we all breathe the same air so they'll choke too (1/2 - see thread for close-ups)
Squee is 21 years old today! Beyond grateful to get to be one of her big friends/ servants all these years, ever since she was a little kitten when I'd visit Lucy's house before we even dated She's still eating great, goes for walks on the harness, yells at me. She's so youthful! #Squeepics
I can finally share this cover I illustrated for Alexis Henderson's new novel, "The Godfrey Home for Demonic Children". Design: @katiecovers.bsky.social
Yeah people love to hell me "what do you care? Those jobs weren't real art!!" One yes they were. Two now no job. Three they tend to look really bad.
Seeing every small business, be it a local restaurant, a moving company, whatever, all having AI logos and AI ads, really puts into perspective just how many artists are out of jobs now. All those little sustaining jobs where someone just needed a quick thing for $50 to $200 are just gone.

Occured to me that I can collect all of these in a single post, on account of the carousel. Anyway, some postcards from elsewhere:
The 'singularity' refers to the point at which AI companies' desperate pleas for continuous and even bigger investments get parroted uncritically under the guise of journalism.
The 'singularity' refers to the point at which AI outpaces human intelligence and becomes difficult to control.
Gonna be real: it's deeply shitty to aggressively demand that artists who worked on a large project guarantee to you that nobody who touched the project used AI. They can't know that and they're not responsible for that. They can only know things within the scope of their own job.
People weren't saying the animation was made with AI oh my GOD!!! That's not what people were worried about- they were worried about cultural research being assisted by ai- as mentioned in an official art book at an official event!!
"Misinformation" is an incorrect term, here: someone involved with the Avatar movie used AI for cultural consultation/research or marketing copy text, and it's not unfair for folks to write the whole thing off accordingly. Was it a department head or exec, giving notes? Was it someone in marketing?
i don't want anyone writing sff let alone a major show just using google either. i want ppl to actually read books & especially in the case of teams with budgets hire historians & archivists & do museum visits. like please give a shit for curiosity's sake
