When I was halfway my Msc I got so used to stories about bad work-life balance, 'reviewer 2', competition... I almost felt is was silly to seriously consider working in science! Stressfull stuff aside, it is so much fun because of all the lovely people ❤️

I know it's passé or whatever to be positive about academia, but this week I emailed an archaeologist I've never met to ask a few questions on background for book stuff and he was like "hey why don't you just come visit our fieldsite?"

Het gaat de goede kant op met de daling van het aantal internationale studenten, stelt NSC-leider Pieter Omtzigt tevreden vast. Hij is van mening dat zelfregulering werkt, maar dat daarbij wel de Wet Internationalisering in Balans nodig is om druk te zetten op universiteiten en hogescholen.
