Friday, The Lens sued GOHSEP to release its contract with ICE establishing immigrant detention wing in Angola. GOHSEP called the document "proprietary." But government contract terms aren't trade secrets. Grateful to the Reporters Committee for Freedom of the Press for support.
Wow. In the 18 toss-up House districts: "92% of Black voters and 75% of Hispanic voters were less likely to back a candidate who strongly supports Israel and continuing U.S. military aid. 61% of moderates were less likely to support a pro-Israel candidate, compared to just 33% who were more likely."
Prem Thakker ツ@premthakker.bsky.social · 2w agoNEW poll in 18 toss-up districts (with a sample that voted Trump 48-45) shows independents & moderates are *not* looking for the archetypical Moderate candidate — and are not dissuaded if outsiders are labeled too far left. Strong support for Israel was the *least* appealing quality in a candidate.

Here in Mexico City the first few trains of the metro are reserved for women and children. It feels amazing to look around a crowded public place and see only women. Come ON. We fought a revolutionary war over such abuses. We wrote habeas corpus into our Constitution. This is INTOLERABLE.
