Dr. Fauci is a hero. He really is. He helped guide America thru a mass death event. Millions more could have died but they did not, thanks to him. Everyone over 70 owes him a debt. It is disgusting that we live in a country that not only dishonors him but actively smears his good name.
While we’re talking about The Odyssey, may I recommend Daniel Mendelsohn’s An Odyssey, an incredibly moving tale of fathers and sons through the lens of Homer. Reading it while sailing in Greece with my son, and also missing my father, was without question, my best experience with a book ever.
