I had a fucking bizarre experience today. A thread 🧵 : So I like to listen to podcasts when I'm out biking, and I had run out of things to listen to, so I grabbed one I hadn't seen before that was about music theory, downloaded about thirty bite-sized 5-7 minute episodes, and away I went. (1/8)

Folks! Say I wanna buy a really wide LED monitor for my computer. I have been using the same two monitors for over a decade and I'd like more real estate. Say I want to sometimes have this wide monitor to act like it's actually two monitors (so I can have a browser window on one). Does that work?

Thank you everyone who followed me when Knytt Classic was released I'm still making games (I'm currently making a rhythm game about my dog). If you think it looks like a fun game, it would mean a lot to me if you wishlist it and let people know about it.

No stream tonight I'm afraid! I am completely drained after a terrible week filled with pain and depression. I'll be back next week, fully rested and maybe even properly medicated for the first time in my life. Who knows?! Exciting times Take care of yourselves and one another. See you soon 🌻

The indie scene right now is awash with games that did not use generative AI to make the game BUT they use it ONLY for the banner image at the last minute. You literally get right up to the finish line and shoot yourself in the head? Like I'm not gonna buy your shit now dumbass lol

Wrote a four skeet long anti-capitalist rant. Deleted it. I'm fucking tired. The rich hoard their obscene wealth, more money than they could possibly ever need, and the world burns to ash around them. Laws and rules do not apply to them. They have bought themselves out of the system.

I do not want GenAI in fanart. I do not want GenAI in character design. I do not want GenAI in world design. I do not want GenAI in writing. I do not want GenAI in storyboarding. I do not want GenAI in voice acting. I do not want GenAI, period. If any piece of media uses GenAI, I don't want it.

twitch users (not just streamers!) there's a setting in your account security settings you might want to check on had no idea it was there until it was brought to my attention today

Allow your channel content to train generative AI content models at Amazon. Turning this off does not opt you out of Twitch and Amazon using your channel content for other purposes described in the Twitch Privacy Notice, including using AI-supported Twitch features that benefit the community by facilitating streamer growth and monetization (such as real-time sponsorship campaign assistance), viewer discovery (such as recommendations), and community safety (such as AutoMod).

as someone who's lacks much drawing ability, art is not an inherent thing some people can and can't do, it is just skill issue. you could learn if you put the time in. I could learn if I put the time in. I don't because I prefer to do other things, but I could choose otherwise.

Alright, two days of forced rest later, and I can now walk without risking falling over, and I trust myself to handle stairs. I... really have to learn how to pace myself so that never ever happens again.

My translation of the 1999 PC game Buster Sword is FINALLY done! It's a bullet hell game where you can combine over 20 items to make over 7000 combinations of weapon types to fight enemys with! You can find this translation on a certain Romantic CD site or you can PM me for the DL link!
