RESIDENT EVIL has gore, jump scares, amazing pacing, but most of all it’s fucking HILARIOUS. Peak ‘horror directed by a comedy guy’ and I mean that as praise. Austin Abrams carries like you’ve never seen. Fantastic stuff.
THE WEIGHT is a solid, tense thriller, but more importantly Ethan Hawke has never been more attractive to me
