All the important stuff. The PLC Org is an independent Swiss Association meant to operate the PLC directory, which collects and distributes signed updates to atproto accounts.

Huge congratulations to the EmDash team, what an incredible and ambitious project. The plugin registry is built on atproto, which will keep it locked open, and it's Atmospheric with @standard.site built-in to the default plugins.

I loved Jaz’s earlier version and this new one is even better. This is the kind of thing that’s literally impossible to build on other social platforms, not for any technical reason but because they choose to keep their platforms locked.

apropos of nothing, @emdashcms.com has native support for atproto, its plug-in marketplace is atproto-powered and any plugins that have been registered in time for EmDash v1.0 will get a lot of eyeballs on it. any atmospheric widget will do the trick. discourse.atmosphere.community/t/emdash-as-...
Matt Kane@mk.gg · 5d agoI'm going to be launching something pretty big next week, which just happens to include a new atproto AppView, labeler, blob proxy, lexicons. It will have tens of thousands of users, most of whom won't even know they're using atproto, or have even heard of it.
