There's a truth to this, but I think collapsing it to "Bossism" is wrong. It's just really hard to understand illegible tasks and tacit knowledge in general - that's what those adjectives *mean*.

They're *trying* but if these tools could replace jobs beyond Junior Software Developer, we'd know.

I did not expect the landing page to be a picture of a child face down (unsure if alive) on a frozen lake and a suggested prompt of “how can I invest in my child’s future”. This is higher level comedy than I am capable of on my own. This is incredible.

I think what's going on is that these people like him were essentially ridiculous marginal figures at one point, which made it easier to treat engaging with them as an intellectual game Guess what, they're not so marginal anymore
