i genuinely think fighting games should not let you enter ranked on PC without a mandatory benchmark that confirms you can run it at a stable 60fps. if i fight one more laggy magneto i’m turning off crossplay

"most unimaginative game design of all time but the cool visuals make it worth it" is a wholly unrelatable way to look at games to me. art shouldn't just be the sum of its parts.

Heyyyyy! Tokon players! If you can't run the game at 60fps, wow that sucks, but get the hell offline. I've played 5 people so far and only one was running at 60fps. Horrible experience.

draconian DRM is bad and i'm not trying to be an uncritical shill for tokon but review-bombing the game because it doesn't run on linux when it was literally never advertised to seems like blatant abuse of steam's community system?

Microsoft should exit the gaming industry and preferably my plane of existence. If BDS was not enough to convince sideliners, what MS did to id is unforgivable. Perhaps the most important western gaming studio in existence - a historied house of culture and art with genre defining talent.

I don't know what it is about Xbox that causes breathless praise of mundane updates while they're actively annihilating their workforce. News is news, I get it, but I'm sorry to say that gushing about Fusion Frenzy being huge news during a labor bloodbath is very embarrassing.

Interesting that almost all analysis of Xbox in freefall completely ignores an organized boycott intended to harm the company financially. Meanwhile, multiple news stories on the home page all month about PlayStation boycotts that haven't even happened yet.
