Is it too cynical to note that these people vandalised Trump’s golf course at Turnberry in March last year, and Trump came to Britain for a state visit in September, and that the proscription was between these two events? Probably not, I think. If nothing else, I’d guess it focused minds.

Most Britons do not distinguish between the illegal settlements and the Israeli government, and they are absolutely correct to not distinguish between them.
I invite followers to look at this MP repeating his claims that the police act on the instructions of a cabal of clandestine Muslim conspirators, and that “our institutions” must be conquered and reclaimed from the secret Islamic menace. What does it look and sound like, to you?

I harp on about this not because we can go back and change anything - what’s done is done, and can’t be changed. But I do want people to understand that MPs and the press regularly unify to bullshit and shitehouse the public with identical drivel, in the most insulting manner possible.
All of these things are Israel’s problems of their government’s own making, and deliberately so. LFI’s spokesperson is fully aware of this, so you should probably ask how genuine their “opposition to extremist settlers” is, just for starters.
Most striking thing is still that Al Jazeera clip of Martin Edobor, at the time chair of the Young Fabians say to aj undercover reporter that he doesn't trust biased news outlets like Haaretz and instead gets unbiased news from the Israeli embassy. He is now a Green Party councillor in Walthamstow.

The impact on public transport is the bigger worry. Night buses could be the first victim. Although these trends have already started.
