Hey everyone! MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT! I'm currently looking for a Transfem voice actress to do some (*PAID*) work for a major project I'm working on right now. If you'd like to audition, please reach out to me on my Discord "lukevaughn" for more details! Thanks!

Another collage-y monthly experiment, I'm having incredible fun with these. Most photos were taken on my recent trip to the Vienna art history museum. I love how collaging added a new way in which to view the world, I'm always on a lookout for interesting things i could use!

Digital collage and drawing on horizontal canvas

The image features a cloaked figure standing centre-left. He is clad in a black robe, and his bare chest, somewhat obscured in the black tones, features an elongated red heart down the middle and top surgery scars. In his left hand, a golden sword. The high cloak collar is decorated with gold necklaces. He wears a rounded helmet with a heart-shaped facial opening, pitch black save for two red dots for eyes. The back of his head is aflame with a stylized, textured fire. Parts of the figure are referenced off a ring wraith from Ralph Bakshi's Lord of the Rings.

Left of the figure is a castle atop a rocky hill, black and grey, with a few prominent spots of light-orange lighting and a slight red distortion. This is an edit of a photo I took at the Vienna Art History Museum of a 16th century handstone miniature made by Caspar Ulich.

In the upper right-most part of the piece is a celestial object - a golden decagonal shape with a spike coming out of each side, and flames coming down below. The shape was taken from a wooden mosaic on a 17th century cabinet made by Giuliano di Piero Pandolfini.

The ground is crowded with dark plantlife and winding gold smoke, as well as a colourful texture, a photo of a reflection of a 16th century mother-of-pearl-covered reliquary casket. This texture is also used in the glow from the golden object.

The background is a large purple-blue slope with a little dark green sky visible on top, littered with murky stars, brightest just above the figure. Dead low-res trees can be seen in the fore- and background. The source is a stock photo of Deadvlei valley taken by Erhard Nerger. Below the golden object's glow, one of the trees is sprouting a plant with a star for a flower, which the cloaked figure witnesses in amazement.

Just finished Incident at Galley House. A very very interesting concept and overall loved it. Sure I did have the wrong picture for 3 characters up until the very end but that was kind of amusing at the end.

I'm replaying Dragon Age Inquisition. I want something action/adventury and I'm feeling Bioware love when I say I'm replaying it, I mean I'm installing it and I'll start playing in about 100 years

several youtubers and streamers I like have been talking about healthy food and working out so much lately and ngl, I'm trying not to be annoying, but it's been affecting my mind, almost making me fall into some shitty mental patterns that I've worked very hard to defeat.

It is an immense privilege to have GUDIYA discussed critically alongside other great works like Devi, Sinners, and Obsession 🫣 I'm so grateful to have gotten to work with such a talented cast and crew 🦚 Go watch this review, y'all! & then watch the others Amaan has done before!

Didn't realize I was gonna be THAT quick about posting it but here's the video. We talk and review GUDIYA, a Bluebeard's Bride Actual Play by @namelessdomain.bsky.social . @dungeonminister.bsky.social was a wonderful guest and an excellent person to talk to about this. youtu.be/aOsztTqlu4Y

I love this framing. And yes, anger is both appropriate and natural when we are discussing gAI. I detest the gaslighting around that anger, or the claims to higher moral and intellectual authority because AI boosters can’t perceive, feel, or understand that anger.

a rude technology deserves a rude response. if you find someone in your living room scanning your family photos, stealing your notebooks, and setting the house on fire, you don't need to start the interaction with polite caveats about whether they might be good at their job

Ok so we did talk about for over 1 hour about this AP. We also discuss Satyajit Ray's Devi. A brilliant film that you should watch [its on YouTube], and other topics from colonialism, sexism, misogyny, body autonomy, and I even reference Hazbin Hotel and DDLJ. C'mon algorithm do your thing.

my husband and I are playing through the Incident at Galley House. I really really REALLY want to like the game. It's def what I like my issue is that it's nice to see that ripple effect when you get a code right, but there's no validation when you name a person and/or choose the right picture.

okay so today's horror movie I put on in the background while I do some writing is Arachnophobia. I can't even remember if I've seen this already. If I did, it must have been at least 20 years ago!
