Imagine having the amount of narcissism to wear earrings of your own product that has an image on them of yourself wearing earrings of your own product (and repeat this forever).

This is a great video about Glacier from ioi, with Henrik and @andytouch.bsky.social: youtu.be/p7B0V_tlFeU?... I especially love the callout of the Glacier folks literally sitting together with the users of the tools. A critical point! (Also check out the Gym at 1:55 and the lighting Zoo at 3:32!)

Godot rise up! 🤖🫡 🔜 Global Game Jam
Well, it finally happened! After 9 years of Unity dominance, Godot was the most used game engine for GMTK Game Jam 2026 submissions. 🤖 Godot - 47% 🎮 Unity - 34% 🛠️GameMaker - 5% 🚀 Unreal Engine - 3% ✨ Other - 11%
Thoroughly loved The Odyssey. Mostly because: in an era where so many movies & shows are being made on a very obvious closed stage with a big digital screen behind the actors, it weirdly feels exciting & refreshing to see a movie actually filmed outside, with real lights and real sets.
Finally saw System Of A Down live! They were the band that got me into heavy/metal music when I was 10 and are a fitting last band to tick off on my live music bucketlist 25 years later. 😁 Perfect stadium show. 30 songs with no breaks. Band were locked-in & having fun. Crowd were very hyped. 🤩
Everytime I visit London I always think "hmm, maybe I should move back to London".
Something I have been thinking alot about lately is the sudden wave of AI vibe-coded prototype games; and how its just increasing the number of games started but not helping with the end funnel of games finished, shipped and being successful.
Obsession: Instant Modern Horror Classic. This sits up there comfortably with Weapons and The Substance! Also a $750k budget R-rated film making $400 million+?? Incredible!
At Roskilde Festival this week! If given the option, always go front-pit for Napalm Death. 🤩
Movie Pitch: Star Wars Podracing but in the same style as the Fast And Furious franchise. Obviously starring Vin Diesel as a street-racing Jedi.

Went to see Sunn O))) last night! 2 hours of non-stop drone at 120db. Was on the front barrier and my whole skeleton was vibrating. 🫠 Video below; my phone glitched out because of how loud it was. 😄
"Looking for an Unreal Engine 6 specialist with minimum 10 years of Verse experience."
Fascinating that all the major public engines are seemingly moving away from Visual Scripting. Unity tried to do THREE at the same time and failed them all, Godot removed it and now Epic are sunsetting Blueprints.
Hold up, is Epic really going to phase out Blueprints in UE6?

As a super-fan of dreadful cult-classic 2003 movie 'The Room', this has blown my mind.
This will definitely 100% have no problems at all... right?
Visa is embedding its payment network into ChatGPT, allowing the chatbot to shop and complete transactions for users.
I didn't expect to see Unity founder & former CEO David Helgason representing My Chemical Romance in a professional headshot, but here we are anyway.

Just reached 1 year anniversary since joining IO-Interactive's Glacier game engine team. ☺️ Also in the credits for 007 First Light! Was lucky to be able to join the production at the end to add interactive set pieces & help fix bugs. The team did an incredible job on making such a fantastic game!
Also, the game is absolutely gorgeous. Moderately conservative, technically, but it aims for great performance and image quality alongside strong art design. I love it.
Working on my video but I concur with this score. It's a tremendous experience and possibly the best Bond game ever made. It's amazing to see IOI grow into this as they leverage everything learned from Hitman while building new skills.

Reading up on the latest s&box news, and seeing an awful sentiment once again: ‘It’s not the software that is wrong, it’s the users!’ sbox.game/news/update-... It hasn’t worked in Linux, for decades, and will never work. Blender had the same issue, until they listened to users and changed their UX.
AI used to be helpful to crunch through tons of data; now it refuses until it is 'tricked'. IE: I asked Claude to process analytics data from a 30 day period. It refused because it would 'take a while'. So I asked it to do day 1, and then repeat that for the rest of the month. It did it right away.
