A paramilitary group plotted to overthrow the Constitution then conducted a violent attack on America. They were convicted in court of seditious conspiracy, and jailed. Then the leader they aimed to illegally install got power and let them out, their records wiped clean. The Jan. 6 attackers won.

Opinion: Mamdani's idea may sound appealing, but it's NYC taxpayers who will take the hit, subsidizing discounts they may never even use.

On this day in 1901, a Czech Jewish woman was born. On the 21 Oct 1941 she was deported to the Łódź Ghetto with her husband and daughter 11. According to her surviving daughter, her mother and sister were murdered in Auschwitz. Her name was Irma Glaserová
