7 October 1897 | A French Jew, Roger Lucien Levy, was born in Boulogne. In May 1944 he was deported to #Auschwitz. He did not survive.
7 October 1941 | A French Jewish boy, Claude Vecksler, was born in Paris. He arrived at #Auschwitz on 25 September 1942 in a transport of 1,000 Jews deported from #Drancy. He was among 475 of them murdered in gas chambers after the selection. He was 11 months old.

Cars have a geometry problem. The massive infrastructure dedicated to them is an illusion of poorly allocated space. Cities run best on walkability, bikes, and transit. The personal automobile has no rightful future dominating our streets. Autonomous, EV, nor petrol.
