the fa thing is fucked up but it doesn't surprise me considering this is one of the biggest kink and queer community ever. it's why puritans and reactionaries wanna make furry "clean" away from those weird kinksters. furry helped me realize I'm trans. we cannot let our community be sanitized.
the thing about furry is that it's always been about queer and sexual expression regardless of who you are. while it's not a perfect community, it's still very welcoming in a lot of instances and that kink will always be a part of it. seeing new furs and corps try to sanitize furry is frustrating

Don't let those numbers induce the bystander effect. This cannot be a one time thing. If FA is going to survive, it will need the community's CONTINUOUS support, not just this big push during a moment of crisis.
An FA+ subscription is $5 a month. That's half the cost of a Discord Nitro full sub. According to the cost estimates in the journal, I did the math: If ~10,000 users (literally less than 1% of FA's ~1.2 million users) were subbed to FA+ every month, it would pretty much cover their costs.
