"Jean DeWolff was one of the best characters in the movie," is not a sentence I ever expected to say. DeWolff as Spider-Man's commissioner Gordon/Surrogate Mom figure works so, so well. Absolutely nothing bad can ever happen to his version of the character

This is total arm chair quarterbacking, but I always thought post-Endgame was the perfect time to go big on the X-Men. You could say coming back from the blip activated latent X-Genes, and you've got a generation of teens explicitly inspired by the Avengers to become a new generation of heroes.
