Extra support weapons for my 2nd edition Legion of the Damned army. All with a penchant for burning or vaporising whatever they're pointed at. #Nerdlings #oldhammer #legionofthedamned #warhammercommunity
Day two of Bunker Assault in Plymouth. Did it go better than day one?... No, haha, two losses but again, a good fun time with plenty of laughs! #warhammercommunity #oldhammer #2ndedition40k
Today's Legion of the Damned minis. This is the Heavy Weapons squad from 2nd edition. Nice and chunky, the heavy bolter especially looks like a handful. #Nerdlings #oldhammer #legionofthedamned #warhammercommunity
Classic Sisters, Retro Eldar and Praetorian Guard!!!! This needs more eyeballs on it!!! #nerdlings #oldhammer
Drezavelt@drezavelt.bsky.social · 4d agoDown in Plymouth for Bunker Assault. Two games done and... two losses! Drat, but was a laugh. Basically being aggressive with the Sisters as I've no idea what I'm doing. Ha! #warhammercommunity #2ndedition40k #oldhammer
That Banner hits me right in the feels... #nerdlings #oldhammer
grumpykiltpin@grumpykiltpin.bsky.social · 4d agoMore Legion of the Damned, Terminators this time. Although the unit in White Dwarf #224 doesn't contain any, I had some 2nd edition ones spare and decided that they would be a useful addition to the army. #Nerdlings #oldhammer #legionofthedamned #warhammercommunity
Legion of the Damned Boxnaught!!! Incredible, its like spotting a unicorn their so rare 😁👍 #oldhammer #nerdlings
grumpykiltpin@grumpykiltpin.bsky.social · 5d agoMoving right along. A 2nd-edition Dreadnought for the Legion of the Damned💀 A big stompy robot covered in flames. What could be more Warhammer than that? #Nerdlings #oldhammer #legionofthedamned #warhammercommunity
Next up for my Legion of the Damned (2nd Edition) project is Sergeant Centurius. A big fan of Shakespeare, he often quotes from Hamlet before a battle, "Alas, poor Yorick..." 💀 #Nerdlings #oldhammer #legionofthedamned #warhammercommunity
Been putting together a Legion of the Damned force ahead of the new Kill Team box. I took inspiration from the 2nd edition force in White Dwarf #224. Here is the bike squadron. #Nerdlings #oldhammer #legionofthedamned #warhammercommunity
"Business" lunch at a bar. TGIF, so the one or other bottle of booze might be opened sooner or later. First round's on me. 😅🍻
Outstanding!!!! And not just because I'm in it 😅 #nerdlings
Spooky Karl@karlplays.bsky.social · 3w agoLuckily enough the sunny day allowed me to varnish the minis. Project complete! This deserves more attention. Do yourself a favour and read a modern version of a classic WD battle report. Then tell the writer how good it is, so we get more. #nerdlings #oldhammer

grumpykiltpin@grumpykiltpin.bsky.social · 3w agoI wanted a different look for my Praetorian Guard, so built this as their main battle tank. A combination of a British Mark I tank, the turret from a Leman Russ, and with Rogue Trader Janus Draik as its aristocratic commander. #Nerdlings #JHBackdrops #ImperialGuard
Reconnaissance squadron of tankettes from the 51st Praetorian Guard. Not sure a pith helmet is the most suitable headgear while serving in a tank, but how else would you know which regiment they were from? 🙂 #Nerdlings #imperialguard #praertorians #warhammer40k
Sonic Spookhammer 🎃@sonicsledgehammer.bsky.social · 4w agoShow us your tanks! I want to add more Crusaders to that desert armour force, a Dingo or two... :D
Firstborn bike squadron, baby. Old school is the best school. Built from a number of different plastic kits and with metal riders. #Nerdlings #oldhammer #warhammercommunity
