I hate talking about AI every day but I recognize the active danger it represents to nature and the human inspiration that has made my life worthwhile. I cannot overlook the end goal the obscenely wealthy have always had for this tech: to squeeze the rest of us even further out of a modest living.

Out of curiosity, have any of the more CRT-inclined on my feed ever sanded/buffed the scratches out of an old TV? I found a junked set that I love the look of, but it’s in need of repair and the screen is fairly torn up. I’m hoping to make it a project, but unsure of my screen-restoring odds.

There are still ways you can contribute to fan translations even if you don't read Japanese or hacking skills. In particular, you can help playtest translations. You can help edit trailers to help spread the word. Some projects would probably even benefit from people with genuine management skills.

Some people will remember Mike McFarland for his acting, and rightly so. He was a PHENOMENAL actor who knew how to have fun. There was heart in every performance. Others will remember Mike as a talented and supportive Director. Helping craft stories with care & guiding amazing performances. (1/4)
