Every time I watch Mulholland Drive, I live for the way the ending makes me feel — it’s like a chord change that suddenly harmonizes a movement that was discordant but interesting. It’s cerebral harmony, my brain flipping a switch during a dream, a sudden making sense. God I’ll miss David Lynch.
