Almond@almondsquirrel.bsky.social · 2d agoThe US has actually been very bad at capitalism (state protections for the owners of the means of production) for a few decades now and it mostly comes down to protecting financialization (wealth parking, monopolization and debt financing) over actual capital accumulation.
If you're serious about game development or design, PLAY OLD GAMES I can't overstate how many good ideas are sitting there waiting to be discovered. Sometimes it's not even stuff that was there at the time, it's only there now looking from a modern perspective.
