Political winds do not only flow from voters to politicians, they go in reverse as well. Democrats running ads like these signal to the general public and their voter base that this issue now has support by both parties, and that hating trans people is publicly acceptable. They do harm to us.

I hate doing the "a rollback of trans rights is the gateway for a rollback of women's rights" thing because trans rights are human rights in and of themselves, whatever the impact on cis women. But goddamn I wish more cis women had a sense of history and self preservation.

This is what has happened with Labour in the UK. Most people don't believe that Labour could be transphobic - they aren't the Tories or Reform after all - and refuse to see it, and they are the most transphobic government of my life. So much harder to fight against, so much more damage done.

Are they threatening trans users directly? No. Trans folks in the US have been targeted repeatedly. That's awful and you have my sympathy. Within the context of a single post we wouldn't consider it a direct threat or targeting a protected category. Ie send trans folks to concentration camps.

It's Bi Week! I'm bi and so is the cis MC in CHEF'S KISS. In my experience, bi folks are the likeliest partners of trans & nb people simply bc we tend not to spiral about what our partner's gender means for our identity. it's all good! it's ignorant to say being bisexual = inherently transphobic

May I remind everyone that there is currently NO cure for rabies. May I also remind everyone there is absolutely NO scientific proof connecting ANY vaccine that we produce today with autism. This is true regarding vaccination in both humans AND in dogs. Vaccinate your pets please.

A 2023 study published in the journal Vaccine found in nationally representative sample of Americans that nearly 40% believed canine vaccines were unsafe and 37% believed that vaccines could lead their dogs to develop cognitive issues, such as autism.
