I learned about the existence of "Australian Freeform" from a talk at this year's @analoggamestudies.bsky.social conference and I immediately sent off an email to Benjamin to learn more, especially seeing that @garthnix.bsky.social made a surprise appearance in the story.

Monsterhearts got that treatment for so many years. Very popular, held back only by my lack of business acumen, constantly described as a niche title or an undiscovered gem. I think there's a knee-jerk assumption that girl-coded or queer-coded titles only appeal to a small and bounded audience.
If you want to larp and need an amazing place to try it out, this is your time! I couldn't get everything together to go this year, but YOU CAN. Masks are worn, the orgs are great, and no one is doing it like Minneapolis, frankly.
