This is good. I think there's a greater distinction to be made between Russia and North Korea releasing software maliciously that had a greater malicious effect than intended, versus the non-malicious intent of the recent AI tests (in other contexts this can define manslaughter vs accidental death!)

I mean, this is a perfect example of the marketing problem! The entry level paid tiers of either Claude or ChatGPT haven't done this sort of dumb nonsense for literally years. Yes, of course people whose exposure is this are going to both resent it and assume everything is equally stupid.
