When you look around at how people treat the disabled in your community, that's your future. Give yourself a better future by making sure the disabled people have their needs met. The little things you do for them will benefit you. In most cases, they'll benefit you before you are disabled.

If you think your kid is one thing and they're actually another, your job as a parent is to support them and set them up for success, not punish them for wanting different pronouns.
