Absolutely thrilled to share that my NIAID Director’s New Innovator Award (DP2) has been funded. I’ll be using functional genomics, biochemistry, and immunological techniques to understand the mechanisms and drivers of immune evasion by Treponema pallidum, the bacterium that causes syphilis.
