Were "bridge" and "middle 8" always synonymous? I always thought a bridge could refer to a middle 8 but was more commonly the bridge between the verse and chorus (what is now referred to as the "pre-chorus").
I was inspired to make this because over the weekend I saw a guy in his 60s in my neighborhood carrying around a sound system blasting the Cat Stevens and Kraftwerk songs

I still amuse myself thinking about people with the initials NA and the havoc they must cause
I think it's bad that the Democrats' House leader is having secret chummy meetings with a guy doing a domestic ethnic cleansing operation and funding a genocide abroad, then spending his entire week going on cable news to complain about a lefty Twitch streamer who nobody knows. Sorry for offending.

Dolly Parton rose from poverty to stardom. She gave $500 to every student in her hometown who finished high school; she built hospitals & bald eagle preserves; her Imagination Library has gifted 300 million books to children. Roger Ebert met her and came away thinking she was a literal angel. RIP.
(1/3) With Dolly Parton's passing, I want to put good words on the wind for her. Feel free to quote reply with your own. Dolly became the single largest donor for the Moderna COVID vaccine because of a chance encounter and friendship with a Vanderbilt researcher Dr. Naji Abumrad years earlier. She
Sometimes, when someone dies, what helps me is thinking about how wonderful it is that they were even alive in the first place. Dolly was the closest you could get to an American saint. We all loved her.

In fairness, I think this "problem" "goes away" when we stop thinking of publications as end states, and start thinking of them as checkpoints. You're never going to solve everything. It's fine. If those problems are inspectable, acceptable, and addressable, then future us can handle it (laudatory)

“…as peer reviewers or question askers at conferences, we must accept that our pet issue is not more important than the other 10 issues and if the analyst has had a good go at handling a bunch of issues, we can’t just pile more and more issues on them to fix. It is impossible.”

A few Black Cat Series works I’m especially happy with. Simple, flowing lines bring each cat to life, with its own pose, expression, and personality. Some are lively and playful, others quiet and focused. I love capturing these little moments with lines. #shouxinsketch #cat #sketch #sketchdaily
