This is the halting problem. You can never be certain if it's perfectly detecting AI or failing to detect non-AI with a purely algorithmic model. Though it does bring up cases that will likely occur more: what if there is text that both an AI and a human could generate independently ?

Trump voters love Trump because he tells them explicitly that the system has failed, and makes it okay to be a criminal. It's why evidence of his many crimes doesn't dissuade them. His crimes are why they vote for him. His crimes make their crimes permissible.

Anyway I think about that when I think about Trump voters. We all implicitly understand that the system has failed and that it's all bullshit.
