Sitting in my wingback chair that I bought because it seemed like something my granny would have liked, reading a book and eating peanut butter pie (think tiger butter taste) off a bamboo kids' plate because I'm bougie like that.

Graham crust, cheesecake like filling, choclate ganauche on top with a few peanuts. Blue plate with a mouse on it and it says cheese please. I have no little kids but some of my friends do so I keep a set around. They're also great for taking back and forth to the patio because they don't break but to be honest it isn't as if we're juggling or especially clumsy with our other plates when we take them outside and if they land on our hardwood flooring they'd fare no better than landing on the deck outside but I never claimed to make sense. Except that earlier post about high heels in the house being nonsense. I stand by that.

A report on the “Effect of HEPA filtration air purifiers on cognition,” showed they improved cognition for middle-aged and older adults, which is a reminder that instead of trying to build “machines that think,” we could instead build machines that improve our cognition.

As someone living in the blast zone I appreciate everyone who is fighting Zenith. They put profits over the safety of our communities, and many of the city's most vulnerable citizens live near the tracks. The way things are going, it's an inevitability Portlanders deserve safety and prevention

Much love to the City Councilors who keep trying to reduce the chances of Portlanders being blown up by an oil train or fuel tanks spilling / exploding in an earthquake and causing a world historic disaster. Much opposite-of-love to folks who run a protection racket for the fossil fuel industry.
